A litter box enclosure has to fit both the pan and the way you clean it. Homhedy’s 31.5-inch cabinet has the roomiest documented single bay here, while Dwanton’s 23.6-inch model takes less floor space. The six designs below suit different layouts. Check the exact interior and entrance measurements before choosing; a cabinet’s outside dimensions do not tell you how much room your cat will have.
Quick picks
Homhedy 31.5-Inch Barn-Door Litter Box Enclosure, Black
Choose this black 31.5-inch cabinet if you want one open compartment rather than a narrow entry corridor. Its diagram gives 28.1 by 18.3 inches inside, with 16.8 inches of height. Measure the whole pan, including its rim, and leave room for your cat to turn. The reversible side entrance helps with placement, while two front doors provide service access. This is the 31.5-inch version; the 39.4- and 47.2-inch versions have different layouts.
- 28.1 x 18.3 in internal footprint
- Reversible side entrance
- Two front service doors
The matched diagram gives a 28.1 by 18.3-inch internal footprint and 16.8-inch internal height. This is a roomy undivided option, but a tall pan still needs a clearance check.
The 31.5 by 19.7-inch footprint uses more floor space than Dwanton. The side entrance can be installed on either side.
Two front cabinet doors expose the single compartment. Leave space for the doors and for removing the pan.
Dwanton 23.6-Inch Litter Box Enclosure with Drop-Down Door, Greige
Dwanton is the compact option when a long cabinet would crowd the room. The 23.6-inch version lists 21.6 by 18.2 by 19.7 inches of usable space and a side entrance that can face either direction. Its front panel folds down to reach the pan. That panel also needs empty floor space when open, so do not judge placement by the closed footprint alone. Choose another enclosure if your existing pan is longer than the documented interior.
- 21.6 x 18.2 x 19.7 in usable interior
- Reversible 7.8 x 9.4 in entrance
- Drop-down front service panel
The stated usable interior is 21.6 by 18.2 by 19.7 inches. It is shorter than Homhedy, so measure the pan before choosing the smaller cabinet.
A 23.6 by 19.7-inch footprint and reversible 7.8 by 9.4-inch side entrance give it the strongest placement flexibility here.
The photographed front panel folds down for access. It needs clear floor space in front, and its hinges remain part of the cleaning area.
Hzuaneri CB82414X Litter Box Enclosure with Entry Corridor, Rustic Brown and White
The CB82414X suits buyers who specifically want a separate entry corridor. Its pan compartment is 20.7 by 18.3 by 18 inches, substantially smaller than the 31.5-inch exterior might suggest. The diagram also shows rear ventilation holes, and the listing includes an interior carpet. Plan to clean the corridor and carpet as well as the pan. The 39.4-inch version is a different size; we have not assumed that this divider can be removed or that the entrance can be reversed.
- 20.7 x 18.3 x 18 in pan compartment
- Separate 8.7 in entry corridor
- Two doors and four adjustable feet
The matched diagram gives the pan compartment as 20.7 by 18.3 by 18 inches. The 8.7-inch corridor uses space that an undivided cabinet would give to the pan.
The 31.5 by 19.7-inch footprint includes a separate approach corridor. Entrance reversal is not confirmed and earns no placement credit.
Two front doors expose the interior, and four adjustable feet are listed. The corridor and included carpet add surfaces to maintain; no odor or tracking reduction is measured.
HOOBRO BG03MW01G2 Litter Box Enclosure with Removable Divider, Greige
HOOBRO is worth considering for its removable divider, provided you use the matched diagram when checking fit. That diagram gives a 19 by 16.7-inch main compartment footprint and a 9 by 9-inch cat opening. The listing text gives an incompatible internal depth, and its external length varies between 31 and 31.5 inches. Confirm those details if your space is tight. We have not calculated a maximum pan size with the divider removed or used the conflicting load-capacity claims.
- Removable interior divider
- Two front service doors
- 9 x 9 in illustrated cat entry
The enlarged diagram gives a 19 by 16.7-inch main compartment footprint. The listing text contradicts this depth, so the diagram is the conservative reference and the divider-free envelope stays unknown.
The diagram shows a 31 by 17.5-inch footprint and a 9 by 9-inch side opening. One bullet says 31.5 inches long; allow space for that discrepancy. Entrance reversal is unverified.
Two front doors and a removable divider are documented. Removing the divider changes the layout, but does not establish a verified maximum pan size.
Furinno Peli Large Litter Box Enclosure, Columbia Walnut
The Peli Large is the low-profile cabinet in this comparison. Its 17.7-inch external height may suit a room where taller furniture would be awkward, but it also limits what can go inside. The diagram shows a 19.8 by 19.2-inch pan area and a separate 5.9-inch corridor. Internal height and cat-entry width are unconfirmed, so check both before ordering. The listing labels this variant Large; that name does not establish compatibility with a large litter pan.
- 31.3 x 19.7 x 17.7 in exterior
- 19.8 x 19.2 in illustrated pan area
- Two front service doors
The Large variant diagram gives a 19.8 by 19.2-inch pan area. Internal height is not separately labeled and receives no extra capacity credit; the exterior is only 17.7 inches high.
The cabinet is 31.3 by 19.7 inches externally, with a 5.9-inch corridor. That corridor measurement is not the width of the cat opening.
Two front doors provide access to the divided interior. The low cabinet and narrow corridor make this a more constrained cleaning layout than an open single bay.
MAHANCRIS CWHR1201 Double-Compartment Litter Box Enclosure, Rustic Brown
Choose the CWHR1201 only when two separate rooms are the feature you need. Its 47.2-inch width does not create one large open pan compartment. The manufacturer diagram illustrates a reference pan measuring 18.9 by 15.7 by 16.5 inches, while the listing text gives a compartment depth equal to the external depth. We leave the actual internal depth unconfirmed. Check your pans and the route into each room; the two-cat marketing is not evidence that two large pans fit or that two cats will accept this arrangement.
- Two separate interior rooms
- Detachable scratching board
- 47.2 x 19.7 in external footprint
This is two smaller rooms, not one 47.2-inch pan bay. The diagram illustrates an 18.9 by 15.7 by 16.5-inch reference pan; internal depth remains unknown and earns no extra fit credit.
A 47.2 by 19.7-inch footprint is the widest here. A central 9.8-inch passage and two divided rooms suit a specific layout rather than a small corner.
Front doors expose the two rooms and the scratching board is detachable. Cleaning two compartments and the central passage takes more access planning than one open bay.

All dimensions are inches and come from the selected listings or supplied diagrams. A dash means we could not verify the value. Door-panel height is not a clear opening or internal height. Leave clearance around the pan rim, room for your cat to turn, and a path for removing the pan.

How we selected these enclosures
We screened 23 furniture configurations from a current Amazon US candidate pool, then compared six designs with enough evidence to discuss their space, placement and cleaning tradeoffs. These are furniture cabinets for a separate litter pan. We excluded automatic litter-box machines, loose splash guards and integrated planter pans. We also left out an Evermagin cabinet because its listing and dimension image gave conflicting maximum pan heights.
Our editorial ratings combine Pan Space at 45%, Room Fit at 25% and Cleaning Access at 30%. The same dimensions and weights apply to every card. Scores reflect documented design choices and limitations. We did not assemble these cabinets, measure odor or tracking, test their load capacity, or observe cats using them. Amazon star ratings and temporary prices do not determine the scores.
Independent guides from Cats.com and The Spruce Pets informed our general access and cat-preference checks. Their product tests concern their own selections. We have not transferred those findings to these ASINs.
Choose the pan space before the furniture style
Measure your current pan at its widest and longest points, including handles, clips and the rim. A hood or high back also needs vertical clearance. Compare those measurements with the usable compartment, then consider the space your cat needs to enter and turn. A pan that just fits the floor can still make an awkward enclosure.
Homhedy provides a relatively long, undivided bay, but its 16.8-inch internal height limits tall pans. Dwanton has a shorter bay with a stated 19.7-inch usable height. Hzuaneri gives some of its exterior width to a separate entry corridor, so its pan compartment is only 20.7 inches long. Those are different tradeoffs even though Homhedy and Hzuaneri are both sold as 31.5-inch cabinets.
Treat the two-room MAHANCRIS as a special layout. Its diagram shows an 18.9 by 15.7 by 16.5-inch reference pan, not a measured maximum capacity. The listing’s compartment-depth claim equals the outside depth, so we leave actual internal depth unknown. Check how your pan would sit in each room and pass through the service door. Two compartments do not establish that two large pans will fit or that two cats will accept the arrangement.
Leave room to open the doors and clean
A reversible cat entrance can help when placing the cabinet near a wall. Homhedy and Dwanton explicitly offer that choice. We have not assumed the other entrances can be reversed. Keep the cat’s approach clear instead of pushing the opening tightly against furniture.
Check the maintenance route separately. Homhedy, Hzuaneri and HOOBRO have two front service doors. Dwanton’s front panel folds down, so it needs floor space in front of the cabinet when open. Dividers and corridors can make the pan harder to remove even when it fits inside. Picture the route for a full pan before committing to the cabinet.
An interior carpet or scratching board adds another surface to maintain. Hzuaneri lists a carpet, and MAHANCRIS includes a detachable scratching board. Neither feature proves less tracking or less smell. Follow the supplied care instructions and clean spills promptly; we have not verified waterproofing or long-term liquid resistance.
Dimension conflicts that need a purchase check
HOOBRO’s BG03MW01G2 text gives an internal depth of 18.1 inches despite a stated external depth of 17.5 inches. Its matched diagram gives a more conservative 19 by 16.7-inch main compartment footprint. The diagram says 31 inches externally, while one bullet says 31.5. Use those limits to narrow your choice, and confirm the measurements if the pan or room fit is close. Removing the divider does not establish a verified larger pan envelope.
Furinno’s Peli Large diagram gives a 19.8 by 19.2-inch pan area, but no separate internal height. Its 5.9-inch measurement labels the corridor, not the width of the cat opening. The diagram also allows a possible measurement difference below half an inch. The Large variant name should not replace a measurement check.
Frequently asked questions
Will an enclosure stop litter-box odors?
We have no measured odor-removal evidence for these cabinets. They hide the pan visually, but enclosure alone does not establish odor control. Keep access easy enough that the furniture does not discourage routine cleaning, and consider the ventilation layout.
Can I put an automatic litter box inside?
We have not verified compatibility with any automatic machine. Those machines may need space for moving parts, a waste drawer, sensors, power and servicing. A cabinet that fits an ordinary pan should not be assumed to fit or safely accommodate an automatic unit.
What if my cat avoids the cabinet?
Keep an open litter box available. Furniture appearance is not a reason to force a cat into an enclosed arrangement it avoids. Check the entrance, approach and turning space, and choose an open setup if that works better for your cat.
Final verdict
Homhedy’s black 31.5-inch cabinet is our first choice for a documented open single bay, provided your pan and cat have enough vertical room. Choose Dwanton’s 23.6-inch model when the smaller footprint and reversible entrance matter more than bay length. Hzuaneri suits a separate-corridor preference. HOOBRO, Furinno and MAHANCRIS have more restrictive or incomplete fit details, so their particular layouts need a closer measurement check before purchase.
