Best Truck Bed Mats: 6 Picks for Custom Fit and Utility Use

Six removable truck bed mats compared by exact fit, cargo-floor design and cleanup, including custom rubber, molded TPE and universal utility sheets.

A truck bed mat only makes sense if its shape suits the floor you need to cover. Our six picks include molded rubber and TPE mats for specific trucks, plus two utility sheets you can trim yourself. Start with your model year, measured bed length and existing liner, then choose the construction that suits your use.

2021-2023 F-150 TPE
LASFIT XS-FD01B TPE Bed Mat for Ford F-150 5.5-Foot Beds
8.3 ★★★★★ ★★★★★

LASFIT XS-FD01B TPE Bed Mat for Ford F-150 5.5-Foot Beds

Pick Reason

The 5.5-foot XS-FD01B is a removable TPE option for the corroborated 2021-2023 F-150 application. Amazon also lists 2015-2020, but the current maker page is narrower; confirm those earlier trucks directly before ordering.

  • XS-FD01B, selected 5.5-foot bed mat
  • Molded TPE with raised ridge texture
  • 2021-2023 fit corroborated; no drop-in liner
Check Price available at
Our Verdict
Fit & coverage Loved 8/10

The 5.5-foot 2021-2023 application is corroborated; the wider Amazon year range needs confirmation before use on earlier trucks.

Cargo-floor design Loved 8.3/10

TPE construction and a raised ridge texture are documented; package dimensions are not used as installed size or gauge.

Removal & cleanup Loved 8.8/10

Published directions describe removable placement and hose cleaning for the supported application, without cutting the mat.

5
Trim-to-fit rubber
BDK M330 / MT-330 Rubber Utility Bed Mat, 4 by 8 Feet
7.7 ★★★★★ ★★★★★

BDK M330 / MT-330 Rubber Utility Bed Mat, 4 by 8 Feet

Pick Reason

The nominal 4-by-8-foot rubber sheet suits a measured utility area when you can trim it yourself. BDK explicitly says it is not designed for exact fit or complete bed coverage, so check width around the wheel wells before buying.

  • Ribbed rubber sheet, nominal 96 by 48 inches
  • Amazon lists a 0.3-inch gauge
  • Trim-to-fit; partial coverage possible
Check Price available at
Our Verdict
Fit & coverage Loved 7.2/10

The nominal 4-by-8-foot sheet is clearly specified, but BDK disclaims exact fit and full coverage; trimming cannot add missing width.

Cargo-floor design Loved 8.3/10

The exact-ASIN image shows a ribbed top, and the listing specifies rubber with a 0.3-inch gauge. These are design details, not a measured traction or impact result.

Removal & cleanup Loved 7.6/10

It remains a removable sheet, but initial measurement and trimming add work and exact care directions are less developed.

6
Budget PVC sheet
LDHHYH 1.5 mm PVC Utility Bed Mat, Nominal 4 by 6 Feet
6.6 ★★★★★ ★★★★★

LDHHYH 1.5 mm PVC Utility Bed Mat, Nominal 4 by 6 Feet

Pick Reason

Consider this thin PVC sheet for a measured utility area if low purchase cost matters more than molded fit. Its 1.5 mm construction gives us no basis to promise the cushioning or heavy-cargo protection of a substantial rubber mat.

  • PVC sheet with listed 1.5 mm thickness
  • Nominal 4 by 6 feet; measure actual size
  • Scissor trimming; wipe or rinse cleaning
Check Price available at
Our Verdict
Fit & coverage Mixed 6.5/10

It can be cut for a measured area, but nominal feet/meters differ and no exact vehicle or full-bed coverage is established.

Cargo-floor design Mixed 6/10

The seller specifies 1.5 mm PVC. Thin-sheet evidence does not justify claims of substantial cushioning or heavy-cargo protection.

Removal & cleanup Loved 7.5/10

The seller describes wiping or rinsing, but measuring, scissor trimming and reshaping the folded sheet add initial work.

Truck bed mats compared. Bed length is an application label, not our measurement of the mat. — means a comparable thickness was not verified.

Which truck bed mat should you choose?

For a supported F-150 short bed: Husky 16008

The Husky is our first rubberized pick for its stated F-150 application. Its pre-cut shape avoids the measuring and cutting needed by a universal sheet, while the textured top and AirDry Nibs underneath give you specific design details to compare. The maker describes the material as rubberized DuraGrip HD; Amazon’s structured material field says vinyl. We use the maker’s description and leave thickness unspecified.

There is a fit detail to resolve on a 2026 Lightning: RealTruck’s headline stops at 2025, while its vehicle table and the Amazon listing extend to 2026. Confirm part 16008 for that truck before ordering. The published F-150 application is 2015-2026 with a 5’7″ bed, for bare or spray-in-lined beds, excluding drop-in liners.

For the GM 1500 short bed: Rough Country RCM683

Choose the RCM683 only for the supported 2019-2026 Silverado or Sierra 1500 with the 5’10” bed. The manufacturer’s selected short-bed configuration confirms the part number and a 3/8-inch Nyracord rubber construction. That resolves Amazon’s conflicting 0.5-inch thickness field. The 60-by-60-inch structured dimensions are not a verified installed footprint, so we have not used them to establish coverage.

CarbonPro beds and drop-in liners are excluded. A molded shape and textured surface are useful construction features, but neither establishes a measured advantage in load restraint or impact protection.

For a newer F-150 TPE option: Michelin MLLCL032

This exact Amazon selection is for the 2024-2026 F-150 or Lightning with the 5.5-foot short bed. Its raised edges suit buyers who want a shaped floor liner rather than a flat sheet. TreadAuto, which advertises Michelin licensing, describes the same short-bed application under SKU MLL-MAT-032; Amazon labels its model MLLCL032. Keep those source labels distinct when checking an order.

The selected offer contains one bed mat. A matching tailgate protector is separate, and drop-in liners are excluded. Published removal and hose-cleaning directions are clear. We found no comparable authoritative thickness specification and do not use laser-scanning marketing as a measured fit-accuracy score.

For a 2021-2023 F-150 TPE option: LASFIT XS-FD01B

The XS-FD01B is worth considering for the corroborated 2021-2023 F-150 5.5-foot application, including 2022-2023 Lightning where both sources name it. Amazon advertises 2015-2023, but the current maker page is narrower. Owners of 2015-2020 trucks should resolve that difference with LASFIT before purchasing this ASIN.

The molded TPE and ridge texture provide a different shape from a universal rubber sheet. The selected ASIN is the bed mat, not the 6.5-foot version or a bed-and-tailgate kit. Package-like dimensions in the listing do not tell you its installed size or gauge. Drop-in liners are excluded.

For a measured utility area: BDK M330 / MT-330

BDK’s rubber sheet gives you a nominal 96-by-48-inch rectangle to work with. The exact-ASIN main image shows a ribbed top, and Amazon specifies a 0.3-inch gauge. Those describe its construction; they do not prove how far cargo will slide or how well the sheet absorbs an impact.

BDK explicitly warns that the MT-330 is not designed for exact fit or complete coverage. Measure the area you want to cover, especially around wheel wells. Cutting can change a sheet’s outline, but it cannot make the 48-inch width reach every edge of a wider bed. The selected offer is one bed mat; a tailgate mat is separate.

For low-cost light utility use: LDHHYH PVC sheet

This inexpensive complete mat stays in the comparison because some buyers only need a thin, removable sheet for a measured area. The seller specifies PVC at 1.5 mm thick. We would limit expectations to light utility use: the available evidence does not establish substantial cushioning or heavy-cargo protection.

Check the actual dimensions on receipt. The listing calls it 6 by 4 feet and also 1.8 by 1.2 meters, which are not exact equivalents. Its feature text says one pack, while the box-contents field says “No.” That inconsistency is a reason to verify the delivered mat, not to assume accessories are included. Measuring, scissor trimming and reshaping the folded sheet add setup work, even though the seller describes simple wiping or rinsing for cleaning.

Match the floor before choosing the material

Measure from the bottom of the bed’s front bulkhead to the tailgate opening, as Rough Country advises. Use the exact maker’s bed designation as well as that measurement. Similar labels such as 5.5 feet and 5’7″ do not establish that two brands’ selected parts are interchangeable. Year changes, liner type and special bed options can matter even when the truck badge is the same.

These six offers cover the cargo floor. They do not replace a complete sidewall liner or include a tailgate mat. If you need edge-to-edge molded coverage, select a supported custom application. A universal sheet makes more sense when you can accept its measured footprint and the work of trimming it.

Thickness helps describe the difference between the substantial rubber sheets and the thin PVC option, but material and gauge alone do not establish comparative durability. The molded TPE mats have useful contours or raised features, with unknown comparable gauges in our evidence. We did not test abrasion, odor, temperature resistance or load movement. Follow your truck’s cargo-securement guidance and clean and dry beneath a removable mat as needed.

How we selected and rated these mats

We assessed 25 current Amazon US candidates and researched the six selected ASINs in detail, checking current manufacturer or licensed-supplier pages where available. The scope includes inexpensive utility sheets as well as vehicle-specific mats. We excluded sleeping mattresses by function and did not rank an unresolved Dee Zee application by guessing its fit from dimensions.

Every card uses the same three editorial dimensions: Fit & coverage (40%), Cargo-floor design (35%) and Removal & cleanup (25%). The displayed Editorial Rating is their weighted average, rounded to one decimal. The scores appraise published fit, design and care information. They are not results from BTG physical tests, and a higher score never makes an incompatible mat suitable for your truck.

Final verdict

For the supported F-150 short bed, start with the Husky 16008 if you prefer rubberized construction. The Rough Country RCM683 is the corresponding rubber choice here for its stated GM 1500 short-bed application. Michelin and LASFIT cover distinct F-150 year ranges in TPE. Choose BDK only after accepting the footprint and trimming limits, and keep the thin LDHHYH PVC sheet for light utility expectations.
